MY HOME SOLAR PV INSTALLATION

Work started on 19th October 2011 when scaffolding went up. Then at 0800 hrs on the 20th, Chris and David Hammond from Solar City UK arrived to start work.  I had received a number of quotes from differing Installers and had queried the Electrician Forum to find out more about the process, so I was better able to select my system. But it was Chris's personal input into the forum which made me request a quote from himself. He is a great source of knowledge for other Installers and he both offers them technical advice and assists with diagnosing their problems during installs.  So who better to have to design and install mine. He and David came and did my site survey and I happily left everything to them. I say happily as Chris's quality control is second to none.

Things didn't go without minor problems, the Aurora Power One inverter's screen was faulty but it powered up fine. Chris came back and replaced it within a few days and fitted a remote communicator so I can view how things are going from my armchair.

I'm really pleased with the install and the installers and I would highly recommend Solar City UK to you all.
