Just a few photos to be getting on with.
The brdm2 is one we blew up shortly after this photo was taken you can just see the Mk7 A/T mine in the bottom of the pic.
I can't remember which objective this was at, although I'm pretty sure it was the first day we went in.The Staffords we were with still securing the area when we initiated the mine, the resulting explosion caused the POW's to bolt as they thought it incoming artillery.
Kuwait airport was taken while waiting for a Hercules to land to fly us back to Saudi before driving to Bahrain.The herc had been unable to land for several hours due to the smoke from the oil well fires obscuring the runway.
I will always remember that journey to the airport. We left about 0400 and travelled down the Basra road seeing some terrible sights as we went. It was quite eerie, arriving in Kuwait city at about 0600, the whole city seemed deserted and there was quite a lot of destruction, I don't remember seeing anyone or any other vehicles until we reached the airport.
